Half of all DVT is asymptotic i.e. the person will have no apparent signs and symptoms of a disease. In many cases DVT is not diagnoses unless it strikes in the form of pulmonary embolism. The major symptoms of DVT include:-
1. Leg swelling or pain.
2. the skin is increasingly tender or warm to touch
3. Red\Violet discoloration of the affected area
Pulmonary Embolism
The symptoms for PE include:-
1. Chest pain
2. Shortness of breath
3. Tachycardia
4. Blood in the cough
5. Dizziness
